How It All Started

Mathilda and David first met in Buea, as they both enrolled in the Catholic University of Buea, becoming its first ever batch of students. They belonged to different faculties, but with very similar schedules and a rather small campus, their paths crossed often.

As fate would have it, they found themselves in the same residence in their second year and everything seemed in place for a budding friendship. They grew fond of each other but at the time, it was never anything more than a friendship! Nothing more EVER crossed their minds.

Church Ceremony

We are delighted to welcome you to our wedding ceremony at Paroisse Saint Dominique Savio in Bonapriso, Douala. The ceremony will be a solemn and heartfelt occasion, held in the beautiful and serene atmosphere of this beloved church.

We kindly request our guests to dress in colors that complement our wedding palette: teal, champagne, mustard, and white. Your presence in these colors will add a special touch to our day. We look forward to sharing this sacred moment with you.

Our Wedding Reception

We are excited to celebrate our special day with you at a chic and traditional reception. Expect a fun atmosphere with classic decor and a touch of modern flair, blending elegance and timeless traditions.
 
To complement our theme, we would love for you to wear colors that align with our palette: teal, champagne, mustard, and white. We also have a special wedding fabric available for purchase, which can be worn throughout the day or just for the reception. We can't wait to celebrate with you and create unforgettable memories together.

We recommend staying at the Royal Palace Hotel, as it is 5 minutes from the Wedding Reception Venue.

Here are some options to help you get around during your stay:

  • Taxi: Easily available and convenient for getting around the city.

  • Yango: A ride-hailing service similar to Uber, offering reliable transportation at your fingertips.

  • Car Rentals: For those who prefer to drive themselves, car rentals are available from various providers.





Dress Code : 

The reception will begin promptly at 4:30 pm.  As the reception is traditionally themed, we encourage you to wear your traditional attire for this special occasion. We strongly suggest changing into your traditional outfit after Mass, please consider booking a nearby hotel room for convenience. However, if changing later is not an option, we kindly request that you come dressed in your traditional attire to the church as well.

Airport Information:
For your convenience, there are two active airports serving our area:

  • Douala International Airport (DLA): Located in Douala, this is the more convenient airport as all our wedding venues are situated here. We highly recommend flying into this airport for ease of travel.

  • Yaoundé Nsimalen International Airport (NSI): While this airport is also available, it is further from our wedding locations. If you choose this option, please plan accordingly for the additional travel time to Douala.
